Regrettably, Fontang Hotel and Villas in Clark Philippines was the worst hospitality experience I have ever had.

Supposedly this is a 4-star resort but unfortunately it falls well short of that.

I booked a standard room on Agoda for this hotel and it was arguably my worst hotel experience ever. They tried to give me a room with no windows and told me that all standard rooms do not have windows. And then they will charge me for the mattress if I “put it down” – so am I supposed to sleep upright? what hotel would charge a person for the mattress that they should sleep on?

Junix the duty manager threatened to call the police because I was disagreed with the description of the room; it should say “No windows” rather than “No view”. He tried to hide behind the front desk staff and got me to wait an hour before coming forward and only did so after I raised my voice. I asked him who ran the hotel and he said “Government” which means he got this job because of connections rather than any experience in the industry.

Junix the worst duty manager I have experienced. He was not helpful, he was not reasonable and he should not be in the hospitality industry.
